Kyro Mod for DA

Not working!

Umm...

I've had gal civ for a while, and I just got DA a few days ago. Since I was madly in love with Kyro's mod for the first one, I tried the new one for DA... ran the copymodels batch file... booted it up, changed mod folder, restarted... made a new game, and the hulls are not there.

Umm... help?

Where exactly did you put the mod at? GalCiv2\Mods or GalCiv2\DarkAvatar\Mods? If it is not placed in the latter then the batch file wouldn't have been able to copy the hull models.

if you're using vista you may have to disable the user access control.

Oh, I thought somebody modded Kryo into the game when I read the title. He would make a great space monster, incinerating planets for bad behaviour, or in extreme cases banning an entire race from existence in the universe.

Yeah, I want to see a Kryo megaevent now too...

Perhaps someone could mod in a galactic wide crash on computer systems or something, and you have to then do some kind of special research, Like 'Kryo, AI support system', it could be added to the Research/tech, section of the tech tree
