First arrange your desktop the way you want and literally all you have to do is press the "print screen" button on your keyboard, located in the top right corner next to your scroll lock usually.

Once you've done that open your "Paint" application or any photo editor or word processor such as MSWord, go to edit and click paste!

There's your screen shot! That's all there is to it!

Paint defaults the file type into BMP but if you do a save as you can save it in any format, most notably JPG which weighs much less than a bitmap. Don't forget to name your file and remember where you saved it to.

I hope this helps, good luck! And keep on skinning!

To answer your question for real. Check at Rumshot (google it) it's by Andrew and creates a preview plus a screenshot. That's what I use for displaying my screenshots.

There's also a docklet for Object Dock called 'Capture' that works very well. It will even throw in a thumbnail.

True ...it is a very small app. Once you download it click on it & choose options to customize it. I have it to start with windows & run in the system tray. For a fullscreen SS just click on printscreen and you can have it set to open the folder you saved it to. To highlight an area just righclick on the systemtray icon and select which one you want or use the keyboard shortcuts.

It's My Secret
