Multiplicity and Wireless

This has me completely stumped, I've been trying to resolve this for ages.

Multiplicity absolutely refuses to locate my Toshiba Satellite M70. I have all firewalls turned off, and toggling both Incoming connections restrictions fails to do anything.

My desktop runs Windows XP Professional SP2 wired into a D-Link DI-524 and my Toshiba Satellite M70 via wireless. Both have Multiplicity installed. The D-Link is wired via it's WAN port into a Netcomm NB1300Plus4 which provides the internet access. I've configured the DI-524 to receive a static IP address from the Netcomm (192.168.1.5), the DI-524 has DMZ access from the Netcomm.

The Desktop has been configured to DMZ with the DI-524 with an IP address of 192.168.0.2, and the laptop is 192.168.0.3. SSID broadcasting has been turned off for security reasons.

I've tried disabling and restarting the Multiplicity service on both machines, but that didn't work.
Changing the default port didn't work.

Would port forwarding on the DI-524 make any difference?

I've tried to provide as much detail as possible, I know when troubleshooting other PC's, I want all the facts; Or I go hunting.

Thanks for your help.

Can you ping the different machines? Does windows list them on the network? Are both computers in the same workgroup?

What happens when you telnet from PC to PC on teh MP port?  What responses do you get?

I can ping PC to PC via IP, both PC's should be in the same workgroup (I'll check) and I'll Telnet my laptop when I get a chance.

One thing I have noticed is that at LAN parties, we're all on the same workgroup; buut... my machine (Desktop: AMD Athlon, Windows XP Professional SP2) am still unable to 'see' anyone else's machine and they are unable to see mine.

Would this be sufficient to screw around with Multiplicity? Any one know how to fix that issue?

Thanks a tonne.

Not sure if this affects MP, but I think this is due to your sharing settings. Or firewall.

No firewall, and sharing is enabled.

Corrupt driver or DLL somewhere maybe?

Still waiting on the telnet response.
What version of MP?  Can you verify (by looking at files and dates in MP directory) that they are exactly the same?  Versions count for a lot.

Version 1.10 on both machines

Telnet couldn't connect.

Would someone from Stardock be able to help me out here?

Thanks for your help guys, but installing Windows Vista Ultimate and doing away with Windows XP Professional has fixed it.

Again, thanks for your help.
