Determining where to locate downloaded files

I have several of the stardock products, window blinds, fx, OD, etc. etc. I like to download icons, themes, desktops, cursors, etc. but I am never quite sure "where" to download the various files. For instance, I tried downloading some Object Dock icons, etc recently and could not find them via ODock to apply.

Is there any specific advice on where I should download the various files for each of my products. Would greatly appreciate this info for all my stardock products.

Many thanks,
Ron

Save them to your desktop or in the 'My Downloads" folder - that way you can find them

Im assuming that like a lot of folks your files have started downloading to a temp folder..

if so...

Explorer menu > Tools > Folder options > File Types tab.

Delete the .wba extension and any others you are having problems with from the list.

Then.. go to a .wba file.. right click > Open(with) > Browse to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds\wbload.exe"

Make sure to check the Always open with the selected program to open this kind of file.

Next time you download.. specify where to save file ( Desktop is always best bet )

If its's the problem im thinking of this will fix it.
