Windows XP rendering jagged icons

Icon files are perfect, but Windows displays them with a couple jaggies

I am having a new problem with my icons displaying with a few jaggies in windows XP. You can see in my example screenshots that the jaggies occur at the same locations on each icon. Looking at the icons in Icon Developer shows that the icon files have no jaggies, so it is a problem with Windows rendering them. When I rebuild the icon cache it goes through two steps, first the icons disappear then show then disappear again then show again all in about a 2 second time period. When the icons refresh the first time, they do not have the jaggies but then the second time they show they have the jaggies again. I tried adjusting the size of the icon cache from 1024 to 3584 then back down to 2048 but that didn't change anything. I've also tried the repair icons function in iconpackager with no effect. Any suggestions on why this is happening and how I can make it go away? I am running Icon Packager 3.11.06 but didn't think Iconpackager had anything to do with drawing the icons in windows. I recently switched from the 3.19 beta version of Iconpackager but can't verify that is when the problem started. I am running windowblinds as well, but unloading it doesn't make the icons better.

is your color depth set at 32 bit?
are you using a png as wallpaper?

This usually happens when icons are set to an unusual size.

What is your icon size set to?

My color depth is set to 32 but lo and behold Windows mysteriously changed my icon size from 128 to 130?!? I checked the setting in the registry, switched it back to 128 and bam! Thank you for causing me to double check. I have no idea how that happened, but the problem is gone now.

Glad it's ok now.
