A question for all people here....

1....I only download a skin to use. I will imagine the other skins, walls icons & object dock backgrounds that I have that it will work with or I will start to look for new skins & wall that I need to get in order to make that skin shine. I have a vision It is true, I am already 10 steps ahead after seeing a skin I like.

This is a cool question & it will be fun to see others answers.

My download habits would fall under 1 and 2, leaning more towards 2. Being an admin at Skinnalicious, I get enough on my computer, but sometimes I see things here first or by someone who doesn't post their work there.

But I always make sure I have many many more

Mostly to like what I see, downloading, installing, deleting, admiring, downloading, installing, deleting, maybe reinstalling and then deleting again. Actually, I never have a dull moment, because I'm never satisfied...

I own download skins I plan to use. Sometimes the skins don't work out and if so then I delete them.

I download clean looking usable skins, generally for day to day use. The Vista Aero will keep me satisfied for a good few more months    then looks like WB 5.5   

I am a skins junkie. I need my fix daily. What doesn't work out (personal taste is the rule here) gets deleted. Pretty simple eh?

99% of the time I download the skin because I'm attracted to the screenshot and hope to use it for myself. The other 1% of the time I download something if the screenshot isn't that clear- so I can see for myself how good it is or not.

I only comment on skins, wallpapers, icons, etc..., if they leave an impression on me and catch my eye.

If something doesn't look fined tuned yet, I understand that a beginning artist has to start somewhere to finally reach perfection. For the several years I've been downloading from Wincustomize, I have seen artists who were average really progress to Skin Artistry standards today- where everyone is noticing and downloading thier work.

Before I started skinning I would dl, dl, dl everything. Now I dl only what I like but I look at tons of stuff. As far as wb skins I'm usually have the skin I'm either making or updating on loaded but I will check out any number of skins in Skin Studio and even apply some to see how something works/looks like. I do collect walls though it's my poor mans art collection.   

1st: your personal use to customize your PC

Cause I like making my desktop look cool. I also comment on other peoples skins and stuff.

1 and 2. I have an extensive collection of skins from each catagory save objectdock, slows my machine to a crawl. No screenshots as I like to look them over for which skins are being used. I comment on all the ones I like. What impresses me most is the great diversity, I'm constantly mixing and matching skins to see how well they play together.
Once I was asked if I had a favorite and I said no because to choose would hardly seem fair in my opinion. I consider all skins as works of art. A lot of work and imagination goes into the making of them. I applaud those whose skills are beyond reproach. Seriously...I just started skinning...couple of rainies, a wall and a screenshot so I know, somewhat, how much work goes into them. Kudos to all skinners...you guys rock!!!

And it's the truth that at beginning a skinner make mistake error and bad things lol look my crappy wallpaper in my gallery i keep him cause i remain me that i must learn more on photoshop LOL

Thanks Chasbo! i'm also a skin junkie but i always to make mine before and when there to bad i use others LOL and when i use a skin make by an other author and i don't like it i deleted it. Simple

all right and you too you are a skinner now not?! yes it's sometimes hard to make a good work (and sometimes not ) but it's so fun!

i download for many reasons, to learn and find out how a skinner did something that I cant do....personal use, and also to view it so i can give comments on the skin, or hints to improve it....
