Even though animated wallpapers are the "buzz" this week, that doesn't leave any other skins out in the freezing cold. There have been some fantastic submissions in the last couple of weeks, and looking at some of the previews in the "work in progress" thread, there are some exciting skins coming up.

For some strange reason I just happen to like animations of water. Regardless of my reasoning this is a smoothly animated video that is easy on the eyes and looks great on the desktop.
SiteChecker in Gadgets

This is a favorite for many of us in #stardock on IRC. SitecChecker pings a website to to determine if its accessible, and it's a great tool for anyone who needs to monitor a specific websites status.
Wood Dock 2007 vIstA for ObjectDock

WinShine Style for Sidebar Styler

In case you haven't heard, Sidebar Styler allows you to change the background image in the Vista Sidebar. Steel89 has created several skins for this and they are a great addition to the Sidebar.
