I did the music for the fan acclaimed Gal civ 2 Star Trek Mod.

So i had some time after i got home from work tonight, and made one for
Ravs b5 mod ver .5 (made specifically for the new expansion)

With a music Pack


Installation

Use Winrar and extract to \program files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar

Activate the mod (babylon 5) and have fun.

BTW you can use my movie pack as well @ http://hosted.filefront.com/Spaxspore

all you need to do is rename the GC2_intro.bik to GC2DA_Intro.bik and place it in the
DarkAvatar\mods\Babylon5-05\Movies as well as my other movies
(GC intro is the only one that needs renamed)


Other Notes:

In event music folder inside the b5 mod directory there is a DA_MainTheme.mp3, and DA_MainTheme2e.mp3

2e is the alternate, if u want to switch just rename it to DA_MainTheme.mp3 and visa versa.

Sooooo, I installed it and just like the other media paks I have to say it's a great piece of work - thumbs up. I wish I had the means to do such stuff.

Just two notes (one general and one of personal preference).
1) One little problem is that the game randomly chooses which background music it plays. And since there are not so many pieces it tends to repeat the same file over n over again a number or times. That is nothing either you or I can do anything about, but since some of the pieces in the pack (like the 4th season intro) are not so seemingless interweaving withoneanother -or themselves when being repeated- one notices the repitions more than with the original files. Not that I really bother, but it's something I observed.

2) Since usually the user doesn't stay overly long on the main menu screen I'd rather take the 4th season intro piece as the underlying theme there and take the current one as backgroundmusic during gameplay. But like I sad, that's personal preference.

OH, and one idea that immediately flared up in my head upon Kryo's suggestion concerning the tile animation. Could you perhaps create one?
An idea would be e.g. it featuring an endless stream of whitestars flying by or somesuch.

Btw, what is the b5mpful file containing?
