Can't install any downloaded skin. Help?

I just bought WB 5.1 and whenever I download a skin and try to use it I get the error message:

"There appears to be no .uis file in this skin. are you sure it is a windowsblinds skin?"

I have renamed it with .zip, unzipped and have also renamed it with .wba and I get the message after trying to load both. I tried to download the file by "Save Target As..." but get the IE message: No such interface supported.

I would really appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks.

Could you post a link to the file you are downloading.

I've downloaded a couple skins and none of them work. I'll check out those links, though.

the no uis generally means it's really a zip or a bad download

okay... it also means you're trying to apply something other than a Windowblind skin as a WB skin.

Did you read the description on the page you were on?

From this page

DesktopX Themes

DesktopX themes are single files that when applied by DesktopX can totally change the way your Windows desktop looks and feels. You can use these to create entirely new desktop environments. They're easy to use and can be turned off with a couple of clicks if you don't like one.

You need DesktopX the program to run that.
