Question about the AI's skill level

5% on there first try?

Sounds a little like he's saying that he believes only 5% should be able to beat it if he has the AI playing as well as he'd like to. His next line says He's 20 and 0 in such a scenario, which means to me that he's either in that top 5 or he's still striving for that good an AI. He also is talking about a certain scenario setup, which could be what the 5% is based on. There's definately more than 5% percent(including me) who can beat it at that level presently in the sandbox mode. So far though, tough is a much better challenge in DA than it was in DL at the same level.

I suspect that very few percentage of players frequent these forums. Those that do are likely the more dedicated and hardcore players and would easily fall into that 5% range. Besides, how many people hit CTRL-N when they make an early mistake or get a bad start location and don't consider it a loss. I've been known to do that.

CTRL+N restarts the game at the beginning, with a new randomly generated galaxy.

To update, grab stardock central off the site. Yeah, it's a seperate program, but it makes updating much, much easier.
