When do I enter the registration number?

Ok I got the email and got the serial number and I am downloading it now. What happens when it is done downloading. Is it automatically installed? Or do I have to run something? It started downloading without the serial number? When do I do that?

Why do I have so many questions? Yea, I'm stupid. But directions would help.

If you're downloading it through Stardock Central you don't appear to have to enter a serial, presumably the serial is already on file with them (they sent it to you, after all).

Typically you don't need the serial # because your purchase it part of your Stardock.net account.

It only is required when someone uses a different email address to purchase than the one they use with SDC.
