Impulse Weekly Top 10

I see love in a much different way. The way you can test whether or not you love someone is this, picture not being able to ever see that person again. Do you ache inside? If so, you love that person. This applies to all forms of love.

Now romantic love, as I see it, is the form that people so often refer to as "chemistry". Therefore, I think your statement of romantic love only existing in marriage is false (in my opinion of course). I see romantic love as that force that draws you to be with that person. That link or bond that you feel. That urge that you have to be with that person as much as possible. That certainly exists in courting.

I am fortunate enough to still feel that "romantic love" after being with that person for 12yrs. I don't think it is a myth at all.
