Transfering savegames

from GalCiv2 Forums
I recentally got a new laptop, and the only game I installed on it is GalCivII, mainly since it doesn't require a CDROM (Thanks Stardock!)

I was wondering what files I need to move to put a savegame I made on my main computer onto my laptop, or vis versa.

I currentally have the latest beta of Dark Avatar installed.

Your best bet would be to move both the files from your savegame and ships folders to teh corisponding folder on your laptop. Make sure you transfer both standard game and metaverse files (if you have any) since they are in seperate folders.

You should simply need to copy the .sav files from My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2 or My Documents\My Games\GC2DarkAvatar to the same location on the other machine.
