Phony Yahoo Webcam

Many times when I open someone’s webcam in yahoo room, its showing video rather than showing the person on the other side. How do these people do that? Does yahoo allow you to do that? If so which version of yahoo allows that?

Hi Newbie,

It’s not yahoo but rather they are webcam player softwares such as fake webam or webcam simulator. People use such programs to broadcast video from their computers to yahoo webcams.

I think one of them is free. I used it long time ago

Does anyone else find it odd that the profiles come up empty (unless that's just a bug) and the 2nd reply with all the info is from a visitor who just joined last night? Reeks of spam to me.
