Edge spacing

Is there a way to have the dock spaced away from the side edges of the screen. If you place the dock on bottom right AND you have the dock set for zoom/magnification, the far right icon gets pushed off the screen. Not a major deal, just kind of annoying if you're in a rush. It would be nice to have the option to place the dock manually.

im not sure thats an option currently. i never thought of the idea locking it against a side so it cant zoom off the screen, good idea.
one other idea, to be able to lock say 2icons (side by side) so they zoom as one, in my case for my bigger start button icons.

I guess what I'm referring to is to be able to place a dock where you want it. You can do it with the tabbed dock but not the standard dock.

For instance, I would like to be able to make a single iconed dock as a start button that I can place in the usual corner of the desktop that is fairly large and set it to reserve the screen edge. Then I would like to make some smaller iconed docks that I could place along that same edge that is within the reserved space for the original dock right off from that start icon...but not centered on the edge.

I like the idea of tabbed docks, but I have like the looks and effects of the standard docks better. I was just wondering if this is something that could be added in a later version or something.

OK, now that it sounds like I'm rattling on...

Hmm, maybe email support@stardock.com and see if you can get a dialog going with the developer.  This sounds like an interesting idea!

If you want a bigger startmenu button on your dock i have many in the gallary you can download for free, or click my name and it should take you there. they include simple instructions.

Re. icons getting pushed off the screen, If you have to many icons just use more fly out menus.
