point me in the right direction

Hello, Can someone tell me where I can get detailed instructions on how to save and load desktops into Desktop X? I thought that I had been saving them correctly, but when I try to load one, the system locks up and I have to end the process. Judging by the questions in the forums, it seems that most users are far more knowledgable than myself, so I'd like to try reading up on it somewhat and see if I can fix it without wasting anyones time. Thank you!

one question in first time the error message it was like that:
C++ runtime error Library (somethings like that)
cause if it was that you download "VBRun60sp5" microsoft library or/and "runtimes-setup" by David J Taylor's software
That fix my bugs with DX (WinXP Loses from time to time files DLL or by bad handling they are damaged)
If not that i don't know.

Once I get a desktop set up, I click on 'Save Desktop As', in the Desktop X helper. I'm prompted to name the desktop, which I do, then it verifies that it has been saved. When I go to the desktop browser, it will show up under the name that I have given it, but when I try to load it the system locks up.

What version of DX are you running and are you trying to load desktops for the wrong resolution ? Your saving them the correct way....
