Where are my guns?

Hello there!

I'm just playing a Challenging game as the Yor Collective, and through clever negotiation was able to get all Mass Drivers from Theory to MiniBalls II. However, whereas the other weapons (those I researched myself) appeared on the Ship Design screen, those Mass Drivers are still not there (only the basic railguns). Is this a bug or a feature?

Oh yes, and I#m running the latest version.

I think your problem comes from the disconnect between the names of the techs and the names of the weapons.

The techs you now have in your possession are Mass Driver Theory, MiniBalls, and MiniBalls II - that gives you three mass driver-type weapons.

The names of the weapons you have available won't match the names of the technologies, though. Instead, you will see Space Cannon (from the theory tech), Railgun (from MiniBalls), and Railgun Mk II (from miniBalls II). To further confuse things, when you get the first Mass Drivers tech, the new weapon you get will be called Railgun Mk III.

Many of the other weapon techs are like this, too. I hope this helps.
