I've mentioned this a couple times on IRC as well... Stardock needs to make a Vista-compatible list of their programs, so that people know what to try and what not to.  Here's what I know works so far:

Galactic Civilizations II
Multiplicity

Anyone tried KeepSafe?

How about Enhanced File Dialog?? I have become almost dependent upon this great little app. I'd miss using it if it isn't compatible.

When I ran the compatability checker on the Vista CD , it said that Desktop X might not work properly after install.

Theres another problem. The Wincustomize Browser, and the Browse Skins feature of SD Central do not work on Windows Vista Home Basic. All I get is chinese/korean characters when its trying to update. I try to do a hard refresh, it says updating, and displays those characters next to the word updating. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled several times and the problem is still there.

CursorXP works, but it disappears with the Windows Flip. Icon packager definitely not!! And IconX installs but it doesen't run.

Yea! Got it running now. There was some issue initially, but the latest beta seem to work. So it'd be a partially yes for KS.

DesktopX has worked fine even on Beta 2.

If anyone is intrested some Desktop X gadgets(stand alone versions) don't work. Example: Shadow by Richard Mohler works but Q 94 Wallchanger by quentin94 does not.

OS: Windows Ultimate

I believe standalone DX Gadgets built with much older versions of DX may not work on Vista unless XP compatibility is set for the gadget.

Neil, No I didn't . I went to dl it again and looks like it was removed. Couple other ones that don't work ArrowPlayer, Aerial Player 1.0, D-Player by adni18, OMNI Analogue gadget. The ones that do work Both Argos gadgets, both WC Select gadgets, Clear calendar No. 2, Blackjack, c242SkinnableSysInfo.

Just to compare with the Wallchanger I tried to load ArrowPlayer and this is what I got:
