Can't use Mode 1 and Alt-Arrow hotkeys at the same time

radio button blues in the Advanced dialog box

I'm a long-time virtual desktop user, and really depend on them. Jimbo11883 and DrDaveDude have mentioned this same problem on another thread. This thread provides more information.

My old computer is a single CPU machine running V2 Build 72, and has the right behavior (Mode 1 enabled, Alt-Arrow hotkeys for switching windows). When I bring up the Advanced dialog, I can see the Mode 1 and Alt-Arrow radio buttons highlighted properly. The dialog software is correctly reading and displaying the existing settings from somewhere. The existing settings were originally set up years ago with an earlier version of VD software. So we can also say that the automatic upgrade worked correctly too (it did not destroy the old existing settings, and still has the right display and behavior). Therefore here is what is right: existing settings, display of existing settings, behavior based on existing settings. But... My old computer has the new radio button blues too--the new V2 B72 has no way of setting Mode 1 and Alt-Arrow keys.

My new computer is a dual-core, single chip machine running V2 Build 72, and definitely has the radio-button blues. There is no way that I can set both Mode 1 and Alt-Arrow keys simultaneously, because all five choices for Mode 1/2, No/Ctl-Tab/Alt-Arrow are combined into one radio button group. Bummer. I tried to find an XML or .INI settings file for VD, but could not find one. I also looked in the registry, but to no avail. So my new computer can't do virtual desktops in any reasonable way.

I'm with the other virtual desktop users---please fix the radio button problem, or tell us how to manually fix the settings. The virtual desktops are really, really useful.
