Windowsblinds and Vista editions

I'm just curious. Which Vista edition is required for Windowsblinds 5.5 to work without limitations? Vista Home Basic won't have the new Aero style...

Well I believe that when Stardock releases the final version of Windowblinds 5.5 that it should be compatible with all versions of Vista....

To the best of my knowledge, it should not matter what product version of Windows Vista you have. It is possible this will change if WindowBlinds adopts certain features that are only present in some editions of Vista, such as the blur effect.

If you have WDDM drivers then all versions of Windows Vista (Excluding Starter edition) will support per pixel skins in WB 5.5.

If you do not have WDDM drivers then you will not get per pixel skin support.

Windows Vista Home Basic will not support blur features, but the rest should work fine assuming you have WDDM drivers.

Thanks for the information. I guess Home Premium will be be the best choice concerning theming.
