Trouble with character creation

There should be an 'add player' button next to each empty slot on that page. To create a character you should simply need to click that button and provide the information you're then prompted for.

Yes, I found them I had to run my old laptop which had an older version of IE on it. That worked fine. It seems the page either does not work with the newest version of IE or something else is going on with my computer. I did at least get a character reqistered.

I'm having issues,too.

I can put something in like "George" and if nobody else isn't using the name, it says
that the name is invalid and that I can only use numbers letters and underscores.

It still not workin for me

Apparently, when I try to logon to the metaverse from the game, I can't because I can't logon with my nickname, even out of the game, and my e-mail address doesn't work (which it does offgame) because it has an underscore(_), and I can't use those in game!
I'm a dud If I can't play on the Metaverse.

You can change your nickname in your account settings (My Account link at the top of the forum, then the Stardock Account tab). Try it without the space and see if it works in the game then.

now everything but the character creation is working out.Thanx.

I'm a little upset that web support hasn't written back, becase I still can't create characters .Any advice on that ?

I had this issue at one point in time. While it didn't work on my laptop, character creation worked just fine on my desktop. If you have access to more than one computer, you may want to give it a quick shot from a different computer...

Well I did that on 3 different computers an when i look at the java script console, it tells me (in exact words) "MvPlayerId has no properties".
and this is with firefox 1.0.1 !

The site was designed for Firefox 1.5 and later. Older versions are known to have issues.

But then why can't I open it in Firefox 1.5.9 ?

I'll also note that I've been unable to play since I made the account, so I'm VERY impatient that they havn't written STILL, since they seemed to quickly deny my mod .

You may also try contacting regular support as well if you have not gotten a response from websupport. In the meanwhile, there is no reason you can't simply continue to play standard non-metaverse games.

I handle approval of the library submissions. Yours was denied because it includes copyrighted music and photographs--you cannot simply rip music off a retail CD and include it in a mod.

Yeah ... I figured it was a copywrite issue .But I'm not the first one to use copywritten images (just so you know, I'm not complaining, I'd rather have the mod rejected than get in serious trouble .

I suppose I can practice a little bit more before I play on the Metaverse, though . I'm having issues with my mailing server at the moment .

But I do still want to play on the Metaverse at SOME point .

Well, it's been more than 48 hours and they haven't written back (that coloured logos thing I did was out of somewhat frustration), and I have been driven insane by the fact that I have beenunable to creat a character in over a MONTH .



can I have a paper bag now?

The guy FINALLY got back to me .Name was Mike or something. I hope he can help me .He asked for some screenshots, but I'm not sure how that's going to help.
