No file info on mouseover

I must be a glutton for punishment because I installed IconX once again to see if it would work without issues on my newly built system. The Desktop icons are great and so far none of the former problems I experienced when I tried it before have surfaced. However, there is one annoyance that is present that I just noticed tonight. XP's default "mouseover" feature isn't working. To be more specific, normally if you have a file, for example, on your Desktop, you can mouseover the icon and a tooltip will appear displaying some of the files properties, such as size, type, etc. Using the "default" configuration in IconX, these tooltips aren't displayed.

Is this something that one must give up when using IconX? Is this something which others are experiencing? If it is something which should work, can someone suggest a fix?

THANKS!

I can't find on option to have the tool tip when using IconX.

But for me it's no worries. Don't care about the file size, etc.
I'm either gonna open it or not.

Again, for me it's just an annoyance and not something that would curtail my use of IconX. But that feature is something I use often, e.g., comparing file sizes quickly by using the mouseover tooltips. There shouldn't be an option in IconX to enable them since they are enabled by default as part of XP.

depends on view.
an option to disable is also an option to enable since most are toggles
so i looked to see if maybe iconx has an option to enable = guessing since the t-tip doesn't show it might have been checked disabled by default
