I've been here about ten months, and I'll be honest, I have no idea who you are.

You've barely been here a month. "New to these forums" includes you. As for having a "rep", you don't have one. Kryo has a rep. Wheel of fire has a rep. Mumblefratz has a rep. Draginal has a rep. While there may be some people with grudges against you, you don't have a "rep".

Ask again in a few months.

Dear Novy, You have been a complete and utter fraktard this week, and it's only Tuesday. Kryo has already had to correct your dumb mistakes twice. For your own good, shut your mouth, get your fingers off the keyboard, or at least do something constructive for once.

The ability to laugh at yourself denies your assertion. While partially true, you have the capacity to be a great benefit to the GC2 community. There is no greater burden than a great potential (so my mother always told me). Laugh more and pretend to be an asshole less and you'll live longer.   

Ask for abusem, get praise. Go figure.

What's a fraktard?

Fraktard is a conflation of pop culture, "obscene language" for sex, and the longer-standing tradition of picking on "village idiots," or in the contex of this term, "retarded" people.

Battlestar Galactica uses the verb "frak" for our oft-banned word for having sex. A "fraktard" is apparently someone with the audacity to have sex for reasons another person cannot understand.

Even when being an ass, most of your posts show intelligence and reasoning behind the attitude. The only thing that I think is stupid is the leet speak, but you've already stated you do it just to make fun of it. I agree that is the only good use for it.
Otherwise just remember there's a lot of fraktards out there, just have to show the superior intellect by having patience with their obvious ignorance.

As with all the posts here I usually ignore the junk. I consider some of your posts to fall into this catagory but there are good posts as well. Some are very funny.

IIRC, Fuels Chief is active duty US Navy. His post #11 is a great reassurance to a pinko hippie peacenik who's never let go of the notion of an honorable warrior. Not to mention that it's very encouraging to a former civics teacher who has to earn his kitties' kibble by trying to help "free market" organizations make sense to one another...

Both the best and the worst threads are those that either intentionally or by happenstance turn into free form conversations, where the topic evolves where it may. GW's grammar nazi thread for example. These often have the risk of devolving into flames but even this can generate interest among a select subset of folks.

Starting the thread off with a bit of self-deprecating humor inviting criticism is as good a start as I could think for such a thread. The strongest criticism so far received (and most effective) is "who are you anyway". But even though nova has not been here all that long, I doubt that there are really that many that don't know him.

As far as references to the previous "social experiment", of course anything is possible, and although I do believe that Lord Pinko's alter ego does walk these forums, I doubt that n0v4k4n3 is the second coming of Lord Pinko. But you never know.

Here's hoping the lapsed anarchist gets promoted after the Beta
