Question about exiting the planet screen

Is there a way to exit the planet screen and have that planet centered on the main screen? I will often either follow the planet chain or look at a planet via the STATS screen and then want to have a particular planet centered on the main screen when I exit the planet screen. Having to bring up the planet list to do that is clumsy.

Not totally sure but you might try the "c" keyboard shortcut. I do know that if you enter and exit the planet screen from the colony list in the civilization manager, that the display will be centered on the last planet you selected in the colony list.

"C" doesn't do it - it goes to whatever happens to be the last selected item when you press that key - and most times this will not be the planet.

Centering via the colony list is what I use now - but it's an extra step and annoying when you are already on the planet screen and want to view the main screen with the planet centered.

By the way, on my original post, I said STATS screen when I meant COLONIES screen. I LIKE being able to jump back and forth between the COLONIES and PLANET screens, but there are times when I want to exit the PLANET screen and go to the MAIN screen. It looks like an extra button on the PLANET screen would be required (unless there already exists a way to do it).

I figured that was what you meant.

But, yes if "c" doesn't work then I know of no way to go directly from the planet screen to the main screen centered on the planet. Sorry.

If I'm trying to do this (and I do) I will leave the planet that I want to center on as the last one I go to from the colony screen. Then I go from the last planet screen back to the colony list and then back to the main screen. But you do have to take the extra step of going back to the colony list unnecessarily.
