Issue with font size.

I recently had to reinstall my OS and all of my ObjectDesktop software because of some hardware upgrades. After all changes were said and done, I started getting the following font size issues from some WindowBlinds skins.

(Look at the font size in the Start Panel, and how the All Programs button is mis-aligned)

This happens with the Fortune WB, Vista Plus Version 2, and Vectra, just to name a few. Otherwise, all other skins look fine.

This did not happen with my last OS install. Same OS version, same version of WB, everything is the same. I can't really think of anything that's different besides my new CPU, mainboard, and HDD. I can't see any reason why hardware would affect the font size in a WB skin...

Any help would be appreciated. I just purchased the Fortune Premium Suite and I can't use it because of the enormous font size and mis-alignment of some features.

Thanks for your help.

did any of those come with fonts that needed to be installed?

As far as I can tell, none of the skins I mentioned come with fonts that need to be installed.

Checked font settings in display properties?

Nevermind
Otherwise, all other skins look fine.

I don't think that's it.

what does the WB system info show?

maybe.... display properties, appearance tab, font size = if it's on normal, click extra large then normal and then apply

Open WB config. > User Overrides > make sure everything under the "Font Overrides" section is set to default or set to leave it alone.

You might consider wandering over to the support page and putting in a help ticket whilst you wait to see if Neil stops by.

Well, I thought of one thing that I hadn't done while I wait for a response from Stardock, and that was install SkinStudio. So I installed SkinStudio, rebooted my system, and applied the Fortune WB... problem solved. I don't know why, but for some reason it fixed my little problem.

just installing it? not using it to fix anything?
