Updating the biggest suite ever made : Heavy Equipment

Updating the biggest suite ever made : Heavy Equipment

common !!!!

Yep everyone, Skinning is (for me, and probably for the much part of you) firstly a question of sharing.

Once upon a time and before (i think ) WinCustomize was created, probably the biggest suite ever made was done, over which, a lot of talented skinners have bring their time and feelings ... i'm talking about HEAVY EQUIPMENT stuff.

Apart that i love this suite, i think it would be a great thing, that to increase this spirit of sharing, once again those who would want to, would be OK to update skins to latest softwares versions.

Here's the "main" element (i mean WindowBlinds) https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=1260&LibID=1 but you can also still find
- Iconpackage https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=637&LibID=2
- One Screenshot https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=653&LibID=13 shawing a great part of the suite
- A version of Suite itself https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=101&LibID=22
- A pack of Wallpapers https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=24&LibID=8
- A Winamp https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=17&LibID=10
And probably founding others software skins by searching better ...

As far as i'm concerned, i should be OK to bring up updates to a fiew apps but not for all, and also not for the coordination of it ...

Anyone to build up this project ?

Thanks to everyone who's up for this! I've been trying the older, original themes on the apps I have, and WB seems to work o.k., icons work, what there are of them, haven't tried the cursor, as it's several versions ago. DLed Desktop X but don't think I'll even run it as I'm not sure if it'll play nice. WinAmp rocks! Using Wallpaper, WinAmp, icons, and alternating WBs with Battlefield and its walls, Sport Nou cursor does an admirable and somewhat fun job also...recolored it just a tad to try and match HE wall #1.
Would love to see the original Pixtudio theme shaken out and dusted off, as well as Universe Metal, and a number of the other, more extensive originals. They're what pulled me in at first, c.2001-2002.
Thanks, neophil. It'll happen, it'll happen. Edit feature seems to go on and off now and then as a matter of course, just like our rural power around here. Gotta roll with it.
Snowman, I'm speechless(almost...) with gratitude.
Mike's comment, #16, is very to=the-point. Lots of those apps I used to use aren't around or used now: Hoverdesk, etc.
The original DX looks so tempting I might just try to run it anyways to see if it works...

Crumbut, my faux pas. Thank You! Apologies for posting before proofreading. Yes, a sysmetrix for sure. Somehow, sysmetrix won't run the Net part, In and Out, if I'm signed in as other than Guest. A DX meter for net In and Net Out would rock.
Tycus! Way to go!

Yeah, you don't know how the way i'm glad everybody ...

Going back to the first way i loved the spirit of skinning sharing ... (euh, if Crumbut could do the update of WB ... yep, i know, i've already said it ...    )

Six years ago, eerily almost to the day, when I first met with Brad preliminary to joining Stardock, this was the skin the that he showed me. HE, I mean. (/me wipes a tear from his eye.)

Thank you all for the thought and the effort and bless the Skinners.

Scribe Larry, great to see you checking in!
Note: Ran DX a couple of hours, rebooted it, played around... lots of stunning ingredients, but had to rearrange it for my 1280 X 1024. [hint, hint: Object for Net In and Net Out would be forever thankful for...]

This is GREAT. All the old timers getting together. Makes me wish I had time to learn to skin. ( I'm already an Old timer.)

How about the WB. Any word on it? This is one of those times I wish I could do this.

A DX would really rock. I can get the original to run, but on my 1280 X 1024 it always needs rearranging and tweaking. The original has some interesting animations.

someone should do a sound scheme.., that should complete the suite!

Wow, now that brings back memories. I would love to see this re-envisioned, retooled or what ever you would like to call it.
