Entry name text invisible on mouseover

Hi,

Most of the time, I cannot see the entry name text displayed on mouseover because it is displayed under the window that is opened beside my dock.

Any way to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

The expected text is "Corel Paint Shop Pro X".

However, I am not able to reproduce.
What version of OD are you using?

Yeah, you might want to check your z order and set it to "Always on Top"

I have the same problem with a tabbed dock on my second monitor. It is 'always on top', but sometimes the whole dock will lose this setting. After entering and closing the 'dock settings' window, the dock is refreshed and it will again be 'always on top', but the text stays on bottom until ObjectDock is restarted. I have not figured out at what point the dock to loses the setting, but it happens almost daily.

Hi,

Actually I have the same problem as Vyrolngo although the dock is not set to Always on top, which I don't want since I'm using many applications full screen.

At the beginning of as session, the entry name text is normally displayed above all windows as expected. But after a while (I don't see any pattern), it starts displaying the text behind all other windows.

I'm using version 1.50 Plus.

Actually I can see one. My XP taskbar is set to autohide. Sometimes, especially when I'm using Internet Explorer, the taskbar no longer shows up when I move the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen. It remains hidden. At that time, the entry text names in ObjectDock start to be displayed behind all other windows.

Thats a Z Ordering issue. Like they said here make sure that your "Always on top" button is checked. If this is the case have you tried pulling a icon slightly off the dock then letting it drift back down to the dock again? Most times this forces the Z Ordering to correct it's self.

Hi,

As mentioned above, I don't want the dock to be always on top, so the option is unchecked. However, when I move the mouse cursor to a hotspot, the dock becomes active and becomes the foreground window. So it *is* on top at this time. But the entry text is still displayed under all the other windows. This entry text is aimed at giving information to the ObjectDock user, so displaying it behind other windows doesn't make sense in all cases.
