Setting dock away from the edge

I used to have the free version of ObjectDock, and it was great. Well, I upgraded to ObjectDock Plus, but now I miss the way I could set the distance the dock was from the edge of the screen.

I realize that there is probably a simple way to do this in OD+, but I haven't figured it out. Could anyone help me out here?

Just go to dock setting and positioning and *uncheck automatic distance from edge..then slide your preferred distance. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, that's not an option given.

I can choose position on screen (top, bottom, left, right), whether to autohide or not, align on top, bottom, or center, and choice of z-ordering (on top, on bottom, normal).

I love my dock, but it is getting to be a pain in the rear. I am online a lot, and I use all of my real estate. I guess I'll just dock it on one side or the other (I prefer it on the bottom, though) and set it for bottom z-ordering.

If you are talking about the tabbed dock all you have to do is move it . Drag it away from the edge as far as you want It will not show as a drawer but you can have it anywhere you want

If you're not speaking of a tabbed dock, then did you uninstall the Free Version of Object Dock before upgrading?

If not, uninstall Object Dock Plus through Stardock Central. Once done, click Start > Run > and copy/paste this including all characters, %userprofile%/Local Settings/Application Data/Stardock/ once here, delete all Object Dock Folders. Now install Object Dock Plus through SDC.

I would contact support@stardock.com because the option is still available.
