Feature Taken Away

You have taken away a nice feature that ODPlus had.
Under the Tab's appearance section you used to be able to quickly apply the same style to all tabs.
The new feature to allow each to have its own style is nice, but I would really like the missing feature put back in.

Hmmm in my case it does it the 'old' way (i.e all tabs are changed) unless you specifically tick the box: 'allow each tab to have it's own style'.

did you guys upgrade from previous versions or do fresh installs of v1.5?
Mine was fresh with 1.5. You might have gotten a carry over of the old feature.
It isn't there with the new one. If I create a new tabbed dock, the default tabs have different colors by default and the setting to make them all appear the same is no longer there.

That's very interesting.

I'd test it, but I'm afraid I'll lose that feature.

Yes, I did.

I think we MAY be talking about 2 different things. The "Style" is the type of skin, whereas the "Color" seems to be what you were referring to. The style applies to all tabs unless you check the box below the Style drop down. I DO NOT seem to be able to apply a "color" to all tabs at once and I could before.

Do you have the "Allow Color" check box next to the "Style" drop down & an "Allow each tab to have its own style" below it?

When I originally made this post I saw the responses and just removed object dock since this ability was taken away.
So, 3 months later I have reinstalled it.
It's even worse now.

A) You cannot quickly apply the same color to all tabs.
B) Every time I select None as the color for a tab, it reverts back to the last color selected. I don't want a color, thats why I chose None!!!

How about putting the feature back to apply the same color to all tabs and allow for None as the color of choice.

phoon, perhaps a email through official support is in order?  I think that's probably a better venue for feature requests than in a user forum.

I sasw some interesting results when trying to mix styles and I'll be creating a ticket.

I'll explore that avenue Zubaz. Just wanted to get an idea if others miss not having that feature anymore too.
