weired behaviour with putty

Hello,

i need to use Putty a lot ( http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ ), but there is a weired problem with virtual desktops

if i just run it, putty just disappears as soon as i switch to any desktop. if i add putty to the 'locked' list and lock it to desktop 2, if i switch to desktop 1 and back to desktop 2, i can't see the first putty (only the first startet), if i switch to any desktop > 2 and back to 2, i see all.

is it a bug or a feature, and will it get fixed (hint hint)

thank you

how's it work on desktop 1 or 3?

Since the "enable MCP notification area support" change from you other post, this problem does not exist anymore, but i still need to add putty.exe to the 'locked' list, otherwise it disappears

limiting it to a single desktop is no problem to me, but maybe the developers should have a look at this.

thanks for your help

*update*

it still seems to happen, but only occasionally. and if it happens, it happens until i do switch the locked desktop number to some other, than it works again for a while... pretty weired problem here

ok, i have tested this a few days now and it's obvious.

It only happens, if WindowFX is running. If i switch WindowFX off, everything works fine. So i guess the WindowFX developers should have a look at this.
