Different widgets and such may access the web to pull in things like weather, check mail, whatever - but you decided which ones to use.

Been using these for 3yrs with no problems.

No there is no SpyWare. Sometimes scripts make security software freak out, and multiple widgets and the like access the web to bring you weather reports, sports scores or what have you. But NO spyware.
