I've been using Open Office for a long time. It's a very good and well developed suite.

I have also been using Open Office for a long time. I was a long time MS Office user, and at first was afraid to have Open Office as my main app. for my files. However, it is able to convert and use all MS Office files very well. It is also able to export into PDF format. It is amazing how well it works.

I recently had an issue with MS whereas I had an Academic Version (Legitimately) and could not load on a third pc, I found out that Office Pro version only gives Academic versions 2 installs so I had to go with OpenOffice on my laptop and it is working great. I will still keep MS Office for my main business use but OpenOffice for all the rest of my puters!
