isnt it always the way

Hi

i just been playing with customising the look of xp, got object desktop, also got freeware programs associated with stardock and made my own boot and log on screen, and a program that changes desktop wallpaper, also rk launcher as well as voice sound scheme have a vista look and all task bars dissapear so i dont need a screen saver its all very nice.

but then i go ahh i am pretty hbappy with all that and then it happens as it always does..

my start menu dosnt completely clear it leaves a bit of its self on screen :/ i have tried reg scrubbing and turning everything i had added off, only when the themes were turned off and xp was in classic look did it not occur.

when i use rklaunchers for the start menu it was even worse leaving half the menu on screen ( its not the actually menu it dosnt respond it just hasnt been cleared off )

so i thought i'd ask you guys if you have had sim ilar experiences and what if anything you did that fixed it. i have a work around that is acceptable but means things arent how i wanted them, so any help would be great.

oh now i have to go play some games which is the major point of my machine and see if i have over bogged it down yet

If your referring to that " Ghost shadow " that sometimes gets left on screen - yes, it happens but clicking start menu off/on again usually clears it off no problem.
Only happens with skins with a lot of transparency for me.

yea it was a transparency issue with window FX3.0 wasnt a shadow though was litrally a good chuck of the start menu not clearing off screen, thanks for help.
