Tabbed dock with tabs

Don't want it to show up when moving the mouse to the taskbar

Hi all!

As some of you may know, I'm new with ObjectDock.
I'm having an issue with the tabbed dock with tabs at the bottom of my screen. When I move the mouse dows to the taskbar the tabbed dock with tabs shows up, I don't want it to show up! What do I do?

What do you want to happen? That might be a better place to start. I have my taskbar hidden so I'm not sure where you are going.

Do you want the tabs always showing?

I don't want the tabbed dock to show up every time I move my mouse down to the taskbar. (The taskbar has nothing to do with the issue)

You want the tabs to stay hidden until you click on a tab (remove mouse-over activation)? That's a setting on the Dock | Positioning section of the config. Uncheck Mouseover activation.

No, you don't understand. I want the whole tabbed dock to stay hidden.

Walk me through what you want to happen.
Do you want to see the tabs all the time?
Do you want to see the dock items all the time?

Tabs cannot be 100% hidden (that's the point of the tabs). Normal docks can though. Is that what you want?

Or do you want the tabs not to be "Always on top"?

You still have not explained what you want very clearly. Try : "I want my desk to loox like [X] when my mouse is [X] and like [Y] when my mouse is [Y]."

I think I know what you're saying. When you first installed OD plus, it gave you a tabbed dock and a regular dock. The tabbed dock was on top and everytime you moved your mouse down to the center of the taskbar the tabbed dock would pop out. If this is the problem, then go to Tab Settings, Hotspots, click on the white arrow pointer, then change the option to 'Do Nothing to this tabbed dock'. That should solve it.

What a shame - all this knowledge wasted because your user id says " Im a fuckwit "
Get a new user id - maybe someone might actually listen to you.
