What is www.skin2,customize.com

trying to view items in sd central browser

I have had objectdock plus, a wincustomize subscription, and object desktop for two years. Recently when trying to view and download items through the sdcentral browser, a login dialogue pops up and says that I have to login in to www.skin2.wincustomize.com in order to view the items. It seems to occur the most in the objectdock section. I have tried using my wincustomize login but it rejects it. As can see it works going through Firefox since I am signed in. I don't know what this is. Did I miss something new? I was just searching for animated icon in sdcentral and this dialogue must have popped up 20 to 30 times and when I couldn't provide the correct info it wouldn't let me view or download that item. I hope this hasn't been discussed before. I did several searches but nothing popped up. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. Thomcat.

Change the server in SDC settings to 'US-1'

Thanks, I didn't realize it was that simple. I remember changing that but I can't think why now.

I guess I spoke to soon. After changing the setting too US-1, if started happenning again when I was in the objectdock section of the sdcentral browser. Do you have any other suggestions. Thanks Thomcat

If you hit 'Refresh List' after and it still gives the pop up then install this right over the one installed: WWW Link

I installed the copy of sdcentral from the link you provided. It didn't change anything. I just realized that I installed IE7 about the same time this problem started. Could that be the problem?

I have the same issue on IE7, Firefox, and Sahara. I have the same problem on pc's and macs, with all three browsers (IE on mac is 5.2).

No change for three days, now.

OK...forget that...it lasted ten minutes and was back.  This is on the Stardock side....have to wait for Pat on Monday.
