From Wikipedia: -

Alan Bradley was a character in the British soap opera Coronation Street. He was played by Mark Eden.

He was famous for being a villain, first moving into the Street in 1986 to find his daughter, Jenny Bradley, who had run away after her mother had been hit and killed by a car. After that, he tried to trick Rita Sullivan, to whom there was an on-again, off-again attachment, into marrying him.

In 1988, he stole the deeds from Rita's house, and impersonated her dead husband Len Fairclough so he could mortgage her house. In 1989, he tried to kill her, and at the conclusion of his trial, his plea bargain resulted in his walking free that very day. He famously met his end after being hit and killed by a Blackpool tram.

Now why would Froggy use this person as a leader of men???

Dude, I don't care about some stupid 1980s play.
This question is for Brad Wardell.
Of coarse, as the creater of the game he has full right to name something(or someone)after himself. This question is solely for Brad Wardell.

Well later on, it is discovered that Alan Bradley becomes something of a badguy, so I think it fits... kinda...
I mean, Brad himself is a badguy for not wanting carriers in the game

Again with the carriers...(sigh)

I picked Alan Bradley in honor of my uncle actually (AH Bradley).

He is not related to DL Bradley who is one of the ship captains in the fleet that is currently in the pocket universe.

What pocket universe? Oh noes, spoiler alert!

Just kidding, but I'm glad I know what happens already.

I just wanted to say for all the complaining I've done about not having official stardock programs made available to the public(custom scenario and map editor)--I have to say I have never seen a game designer answer so many posts on a forum as well as offer so much support for a game--by comming up with so many updates and answering questions---for that I would have to say to u Frogboy as well as the rest of stardock---You guys and gals rock!!!!!

Hey Brad, is the Korah and the split between the Dregin, and the Planetary Shield around Earth a homage to Star Control 2, Urquan Masters?

When I read that bit about DA, I thought the same thing, Achillus! I loved Star Control II (I wasn't as enthused about SC3, there was one ship that, once you got a hold of it, basically made you unbeatable in ship combat)

BTW, Brad, nice interview in Computer Gaming World. I was pleased to see you representing Stardock as among the "giants" of AI in gaming. Woot.

What ship was that Justin? I played through SC2 and 3 and finished it. If your talking about the Chmmmr, i really suck with that ship. I prefer to upgrade the main ship. Oh, and did you know that a Star Control 2 is available for free and runs on windows.. Thanks to a few fans who brought it back.

Check it out at this site http://sc2.sourceforge.net/

It's legitimate and free.

Okay, carry on.

EDIT: Oh, before I leave... Tir-Quan vs Ur-Quan.

Yea, for all the complaining we do, Brad, don't let that lead you to believe we don't think this game is awesome and your group are anything short of awesome. The online support and regular updates are wonderful. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, we love you Stardock.
