Service Unavailable

What 'service'?....

I haven't been able to get to my personal pages for several days either.

Just tried it today also, and confirmed not working also. I have a link direct to my personal page that reports "Service Unavailable" and if I go to the WC mainpage and try to login it says: "Invalid Email Address or Password".

 

[Edit] Just asked the site to send me my password (which arrived correct as I remembered it) and it still won't let me log in.

 

[Edit#2] Suddenly the site recognises my login, but still can't get to my personal pages...

My personal page is too personal, it won't even let me look.

upss...sorry...forget to give a long discription version of the problem...Maybe due to that everytime I click my personal pages I got those "Service Unavailable" slap on my face one too many......wait..wait....hey...its okay now...thanks...

huh? now its gone again...maybe i need to turn off the light and lock the door...maybe..

Service unavailable for me too...for almost 2 days i think..

here is what i observed...when i access my My Skins from this forum, the link is working..but when i access the page from other pages, it doesnt seem to work..even if you use the refresh button of the browser..still doesnt work. Means you have to access personal pages through the forum page..

Going on since Thursday morning.

I havent been able to access " My Skins " " My WC Personal " site or anyone elses for that matter - it still takes me 9 minutes to log in to my user id - and my cursor never stops spinning on its own. I always have to hit esc key and refresh. My age is listed as 2005 and all the " recent skins " are not mine and that has been that way for a few weeks. And I still get " Service unavailable " even from Forum pages. The links are:

I figure its gonna be this way as long as its GUI Olympics time...

it's pretty much everyone at this point, I attempted to check out the wincustomize personal websites of all the top bootskin authors and "service unavailable" is the message that get's displayed for everyone with a subdomain off of wincustomize.com (ex. unclerob.wincustomize.com)

I think it would be helpful to confirm that their is a problem with the site by posting a message on the wincustomize home page acknowledging that this problem exists and maybe let everyone know that it is being looked into.

I get emails from people telling me that they were browsing my skins using my wincustomize site and can no longer do so because of the problems.

I think they may have fixed the problem, I was unable to get in thursday to sunday including last night but it seems to be working this morning.

Congrats to the site admins for fixing this problem!!!   

(on a side note, does this mean that I'm an addict that I can't handle being without my wincustomize site for more than a few days, wow - I can't handle these withdrawal symptoms, thanks for hooking us up with our "fix" again)

Just tried it. Hit userlink this page, got personal site, hit large Winky button to view skins, worked as it should Fairyy~, that was your page, so it worked now.

i know its fixed - they probably had shut them off like they did before because of the high traffic on weekends. BUT - im still 2005 years old ....

I certainly hope that is not the case.
It would make more sense to actually FIX the issues.
Can't have it all though can we....

More than likely it was one of the servers going home too for the weekend....[if the guys can go...so can the hardware].  With no-one there to give it a 'slap' for going AWOL it could skive off for a few days till Monday morning....
