Updates for OD `07

Umm, dude, what year is it? How could there be timestamps of 2007 on any files?

Also, even since that cd was mailed out, there were likely product updates. Stardock is very good about implementing suggestions and fixing bugs with quick release times. Think of it as a convenience that they do this, since that way YOU get a higher quality product.

Car makers release next year's models early in the current year (2007 model in Feb or whatever 2006), I haven't seen anyone up in arms about that. *shrug*

If you have bought Object Desktop then that means you will get ALL product updates for 12 months. I assume Stardock called this version OD2007 because it is the latest version and will carry through into the product year 2007, and the products in it are preparing for the release of Windows Vista. You'll be very happy you bought it in a few months time, as I'm sure Stardock must have some really cool stuff to release in 2007. And you will be the first to get it all!

That is not what I'm getting at. My 2007 Disc. comes with files that were last created in 2004. They now have current updates for those out-dated files but why would'nt Stardock UPDATE it's own product? Some of the updates available were created in 2005.
I apologize for my rant, I just think that Stardock should Update this product more often. After all it's not like they mass produce it. My disc was burned from a computer and came in a plain jewel case with no j-card or anything.

Your OD 2007 CD should have contained all the latest release versions at time of release.

LOL . . and since Treeview hasn't been updated is forever . . it IS the most recent.
