Expediting a reinstall

My question applies to all the Object Desktop applications. I am building a new machine and would like to expedite the re-installation of all my Object Desktop application "skins/themes". I plan on downloading a fresh version of Stardock Central then using it to download/install my selected applications. AFTER these applications are installed can I simply copy over the relevant "skins and themes" folders I have in backup for each application without having to install each individual one for each program? E.g., after WindowBlinds is installed, can I simply copy over all my "skins" folders to: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds? Same for IconPackager, etc.

THANKS!

Yes, that's worked for me. Should work without a problem.

Stardock Central allows Archiving of the programs and skins. I have recently re-installed Windows and that is what I used.

Open SDC > select the program you want to archive > click File > Archive Application > then the option you want (there are two). SDC saves the archived files in C:\Program Files\Stardock\SD Central\BACKUP, so once you're done archiving through SDC, you just copy the BACKUP folder and then replace the copy with the one that SDC created upon re-install. After you have re-installed SDC, you can then click File > Restore Archive > choose the programs you wish to restore.

Note: Remeber that SDC has two options to archive. One to archive just the program, and one to archive the program and all skins included.

I'll have to remember that one when I do my next format, which is imminent. >_<
