omg, desktop x ruined my desktop...

in the end, i uninstalled it after using the destruction desktop and now when i maximize it covers the start bar, how do i stop this from happening?

No problem.

With any open windows minimized or closed, do the following:

Right-click the taskbar > click "Properties" > select "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" > click "Apply".

That should sort it.

Note - some DesktopX themes deselect the taskbar option by default, and the option is not reselected upon unloading DesktopX.

Sigh. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who was introduced to DX this way. It's a great program, though. Once you learn all that it can do, it's a lot of fun. It's finding those little unexpected things it can do that will get ya. But it has yet to 'harm' anything on my PC.
