The installer for the software is currently being worked on.

Cool! Thanks for the update!

Great to hear, are you not using the default installer software from Xcode?

I've tested the client internally, works pretty darn well so far

Great to hear. I personally can not wait any longer. On my main desktops, I'm stuck with a KVM to my mac while my two PCs enjoy the awsomeness that is multipicity. If you need a third party tester that has 7 possible computers with a mix of macs and PCs shoot me an e-mail.

OSX support will be great. Can't wait to try it.

I'd ask if it is ready yet - but since it isn't in object desktop I'm going to guess the answer is no. I don't suppose you could give us an idea? Thanks.

The installer was being tweaked last night to resolve a problem with a hang on shutdown on initial install.

So hopefully soon.

Something i haven't seen mentioned. Is it going to be cross compatible with the windows version?

So what's the latest on the OS X verion of Multiplicity? Also, can you address the previous question concerning cross-compatibility with the Windows version?

See the post here: MP 1.1 released

Excellent news. Now if you want some beta testers for the OS X version, I would be happy to volunteer.

I'm really excited about the OS X client.

Will this be available via SD Central? Can we use it with a PC as the main machine and the Mac as a secondary machine? Can I be a beta tester?

So many questions...

Thank you!

From what I've read, the PC *must* be the primary. It will be available through SDC (as are all of SD apps) if you have purchased MP or subscribed to the ThinkDesk suite.

I would expect that the Mac version will be release in beta on SDC but (again, from what I've read in other posts) it's still in late alpha.

I bought the Windows version from you to use at work over a year ago and enquired on the progress of the OSX version back then. It was - and still is - 'under development'.

I really found this useful back when I had two XP machines on my desk - it would have been the icing on the cake to control my PowerBook as well.

Please - release the beta version; I would be happy to test - along with with all the other guys on this page. Come on guys - you have a killer app on your hands here. There are loads of people with a second laptop sitting next to their home PC - and a growing number have Apple laptops.

Really looking forward to it...

I just want to tell you guys developing Multiplicity that as soon as you got an OS X client working, I'll buy your product! Synergy is hard to set up, and Multiplicity is easy. Ah well, back to struggeling with Synergy.
