Over-riding Document BG Color?

New WindowBlids user here.

I'm using some fantastic themes I found by Tiggz. However, I'm not real big on having a non-white background when working with documents. It makes things confusing for a computer artist.

Is it possible to set these themes up so everything but the document background changes?

Thanks.

yes, it is. do you have skinstudio? it's easy to so with that app. it's also possible to do so by opening the uis file in notepad and changing one setting. let us know which avenue you'd like to go down and somebody will able to help. have a good one!

I just have WindowBlinds.

Nope, not good enough. You gotta make a decision so that someone can help.
What's it gonna be?

Notepad (if you can right click your desktop or in a folder and choose 'new' 'text document' - you're almost there.

Skin Studio - I believe what you want to accomplish can be done in the free version.

Try this. Right click on your desktop, Properties/Appearance/Advanced/Advanced, under Item go down to Window, click in the right hand box for color, click on white, OK, and Apply. This will, hopefully, change the background of all your windows to white.

That works until you reboot or change skins. The skins themes take over the color on the desktop.

But I believe the OP is talking about documents.
