Rally Points

"Attack" type

I'm not quite sure I know what an "attack" rally point does. I can't seem to find any info on that in the manual.

I know what a "fleet" RP is. Not sure Normal does anything (I prefer fleet RPs). And attack, well, I'd be afraid the computer would send out my singal ships into fighting dumb stuff.

Normal rally points simply send the ships there but give them no orders beyond that. Fleet rally points cause ships to automatically group into fleets as they arrive. Attack rally points set ships to auto-attack when they arrive (though it seems the auto-attack order itself is not working properly in the latest patch).

Has auto attack ever worked ? I wouldn't know cause i gave up on it. I say either punt (remove it) or fix it.
