Really Dissapointed

I am really sad that i spent the money on this software.

I am using windows vista inspirat and it works flawlessly...

Why? because its not an add on like window blinds is...

My dissapointment comes from the feel of the program. While I really like the skins and the abilities and the touches of glass, i really do not like that it feels like an ADD ON program to windows XP.

For instance. Everytime windows starts.. My taskbar IS another color than what it finally supposed to be. The program deletes wallpapers... If you do not use the wallpaper supplied, everytime you reboot it will simply put the background screen of its choice and the wallpaper of its choice... EVEN after changing the settings to not do so...

I would have thought that WB would be a much better program overall...

Funny...I don't have any of those problems and I've been using WindowBlinds for the past 3 years. I think its an excellent program, and actually the best money I ever spent on software.

Everyone's mileage may vary but...

My taskbar starts with a with my WB skin loaded.
WB has never deleted a wallpaper on my computer.
Everytime I reboot the wallpaper of my choice loads on the desktop.
I have been using WB for 6 years now and have no complaints at all.

...no it doesn't. It's still where you applied it from ...be it "my Pictures" or wherever your saved wall was in the first place.

When WB applies the supplied wall ...it replaces your previous wall with the new one, but the old one is still on your system.

Wrong again ...it integrates quite nicely and has such a miniscule footprint, you dont even notice any system lag. [Unless your system is ancient]

EVEN after changing the settings to not do so...


I'm thinking you have something else that may be conflicting ... As WebGizmo's said above: ...

Ditto ...never have had a problem with WindowBlinds in the entire time I've been using it. Even with the first beta of WB5
