It will be due to the font the author of the skin has used. With SkinStudio you can change the font to one you like.

Another issue might be you do not have the font used by the author, windowblinds has an auto install for fonts the author uses but if the windowblind is not set up upon creation to auto install the font then it will go to a default one.

If you would like to see and or change the font the windowblind currently has open SkinStudio and then open the skin. Look at the tree to the left go to... Taskbar > Taskbar button there are seperate settings for the Horizontal and Vertical taskbars. On the right side look for fonts... in there you can see what fonts are being used and edit them.

Eminence is using a font called 'Segoe UI' and there is no auto install set up in the windowblind.

Segoe UI is the new contraversial (legal battle over who hold the rights to it and such) font found on Vista and Office 2007... its fairly new and not easy to find but you can download it from here...

Hope that helps.

The font that I used doesn't work too well without font smoothing. To turn on font smoothing right click on your desktop, click properties, browse to the Appearance tab, and click effects. There you will see an option to turn on font smoothing.

Zero

That should fix the problem.
