Moving OD+ settings to another PC

Has anyone ever successfully moved their OD from one pc to another, so that all your settings are transfered to the new PC? I've tried copying the OB directory to the new PC, but it still comes up as new settings. Any ideas?

You'd have to move the cached files as well but even then unless your new machine is an exact clone with all apps, icons, paths, etc identical to the old, then there'll be many missing/broken links and not-working shortcuts etc. Not a straightforward thing to do.

You can get most of it by simply exporting your current theme(s) and opting to include all icons, etc, in the package. Move the created file over to the new machine and load it up on OD, and you should be good to go. AFAIK doing that only leaves to you set a couple of general settings, such as hiding the taskbar and running on startup. All the "important" bits should copy over though.

I'm not sure about copying the app-icon associations, as I don't use the dock for tasks/tray myself.

You probably don't have Stardock Central, but if you do, you can Archive ObjectDock and then load the Archived file on your new PC.

I just manually recreated everything.
