bootscreen and skins

i just downloaded some new skins and bootscreen how to i get them to startup? do i need to move them to folder? or something?

You need the program for each to load them. Object desktop has a demo version as does windoblinds. At the top of the page you downloaded from you will see the program required to use the skins.It will say gallery description on the left and download on the right. Otherwise go to the software tab, which will have all the software on one page. Object desktop has many of the programs included, but you have to download bootskin separately.

And I've found that with Windoze XP SP2 on an HP Pavilion it just doesn't work. I get the error message having to do with "What mode/configuration do you want to use", which includes safe mode and so forth.

What doesn't work? Windowblinds? Need to be specific. If installed correctly WB should work without issue on XP SP2.
