Full Screen Video Playback

Whenever I try and play a video in fullscreen with Nero7 (Nero Showtime), or my TV tuner card, I end up with sound, yet no picture (black screen). In windowed mode, no problems. If I unload WB5, they play fine. Took me a bit to figure out WB was the problem, but I've tried back and forth, unloading/enabling WB, same result every time (no fullscreen with WB enabled). Have also tried several skins, with the same affect, so it's not a skin specific issue.

Went to the "per application" settings, and added everything in Nero (including Showtime) as well as my tuner card .exe's, checking the ignore this option. No help, still a blank in fullscreen mode.

Ensure you have WB 5.01 or later installed.

WB 5.01 has a workaround for bugs in the overlay init code in a number of apps.  The actual bug is in the apps, not WindowBlinds though.  It is believed there was a buggy microsoft sample which a number of apps have used code from.  It is interesting to note that Windows Media Player does not suffer from this problem.

If that does not help, then disable any overlay functions in those apps and it should be fine.
