It's all gone quiet again ...

... hello Stardock ... is anyone there ?

I'm feeling somewhat disgruntled, having been suckered into shelling out my resub money yet again. I submit bug reports - that's what betas are for, no ? There is no
list of what you are fixing, in fact there is no indication that you are doing anything with OB at all ... surely you're not all still working on games ?

binster, Just a few minutes ago SD updated to WB 5.01e[b].009 from .008 in OD - just wanted to pass it along if you might have missed it. Your right however, it's been somewhat quiet with most of the updates lately.

I think he means in the ObjectBar realm
I first posted the "What's Going On" thread on Dec. 19th 2005, which this current version of Object Bar had already been around for a bit. Brad posted about needing to keep us more informed on March 17th, and since then...nothing.

Nothing doesn't mean bad, it could mean that they actually listened to us in our complaints about the object bar editor, and the other problems, which would take a while to fix. Especially the editor since I think they litterally have to start from scratch again.

But I'm feeling Rob's pain about the resub fee. At this point I wish I hadn't spent it this year. Its been a while that I've felt I've got my money's worth. All the apps I use haven't been updated for a while (except window blinds). Tab Launchpad, Keyboard Launchpad, Icon Packager, and Object Bar. I could have saved over 100$ considering they haven't really added anything new to all those (except window blinds, and I could have lived with an earlier skin).

I REALLY want a new version of ObjectBar. Heck, most of the developers I work with really would like to subscribe (they really like the Object Bar I use), but since they've seen how long this beta has gone one, they've become wary. Lost business for Stardock I guess. But if the new version was good enough, I bet I could get them back.
