Rally Points

Okay, I'm a "newbie" to GalCivII, I'll admit it. I've been playing stand-alone for the past few days and think I'm getting the hang of it. The thing is, when I build my "warships" on different planets, and want to get them to one area with a rally point, I can't do it. I try to create a rally point, but all that shows in the window are "none", and "Home". No matter what I try, I can't create one. How do you create a rally point? Help!!

On the lover left side of the normal screen above your income stats the is a little symbol like a downpointed arrow. klick on that and move the cursor to the place where you want a rally point.

That worked GREAT! Never noticed that, and may never have. It would help the "newbies" if there were better instructions in the game manual.

The manual was out of date BEFORE the game was shipped. Use the wiki site Link, these forums or the IRC (channel #galciv) for all your gaming needs

There is also a "rally point" tutorial that can be reached from the main game screen. Just select tutorials, then "rally points."
